How to Export Form Submission Data

Export form responses to CSV, Google Sheets, or PDF. Filter, sort, and download your collected data anytime.

Before you start

  • A Formet form with at least one submission
1

Go to your form submissions

Open your form in the dashboard and navigate to the Submissions or Responses tab. You'll see all collected submissions in a table view.

2

Filter and sort (optional)

Use filters to narrow down submissions by date range, specific field values, or submission status. Sort by any column to organize the data.

3

Choose export format

Click the Export button. Choose your format: CSV (for spreadsheets), Google Sheets (for live sync), or PDF (for reports and printing).

4

Download or sync

For CSV, the file downloads immediately. For Google Sheets, a new sheet is created or your connected sheet is updated. For PDF, a formatted report is generated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I schedule automatic exports?

For real-time export, use the Google Sheets integration. Every submission automatically syncs to your sheet without manual exports.

Are file uploads included in exports?

CSV and Google Sheets exports include download links for uploaded files. PDF exports include the file names.

Can I export specific fields only?

The CSV export includes all fields by default. Use Google Sheets with column selection for more control over which fields to include.

Is there a limit on export size?

No. You can export all submissions regardless of count. For very large datasets (10,000+ submissions), CSV export is recommended.
